Take care of your feet

The recent Trades Union Congress generated a huge amount of media attention on the topic of “high heels in the workplace”.

Lorraine Jones from the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists, claiming that two million working days were lost every year through lower limb and foot-related problems and that women who wore high heels risked long term health problems such as knee damage, corns, bunions and deformity.

It is with this very much in mind that Cherry Blossom has introduced a range of products, both in its Original and Premium ranges to alleviate these problems.

Given that no two person’s feet are exactly the same, individuals are always likely to experience different “pressure points” from wearing any kind of footwear – and high heels are only likely to exaggerate the situation. This could range from the toes, ball of the foot, the arch, the heel itself and the back of the heel.

Dave Watkins, Sales Director of Cherry Blossom, says:
“We have a comprehensive range of products specifically designed to provide enhanced comfort for everyone, both men and women – from cushioned insoles, gel pads for pressure points, toe posts and gel heel grips and they really do make a big difference when it comes to both comfort and prevention of more serious complaints.
